Because when you talk about armoured dragons, I think of Deathwing. But that sounds too cheesy when you put it down for non World of Warcraft players. So I went with the Broodmother of the Black Dragonflight, Onyxia.

Used a lot of #22 because I forgot to order more #24 from Smallbear. I think I need to replace some runs with shielded wire, but after two hours of wiring this thing up it can wait.
The Gate control works REALLY, REALLY well in this pedal. I mean really well.
I'll see if I can get Ironbird to do a demo sometime this month for it.
Great job ! And the name of this pedal brings back so many great memories.
I'd be super interested in a demo, too. How would you describe this pedal compared to other "classic" high gain distorsions?
Congrats. Another Dragon to join the family. Anyone wanting very high gain with excellent gate control needs to build this pedal. Glad you got this one finished. Is the font laser etched or sharpie? lol
Nice one. Jokerx and the guys at DIYSB did a great job on this one. Reminds me, I need to post mine up. I'll do a thread if I get round to taking some photos.
Well, it's very, very different from a high gain muff :)
Bigrigg, India Ink with this one.
