Hey guys, following Steve (raulduke) suggestion, i want to know if there would be any interest.
In order to make this happen, it asks for at least a total of 50 Bricks. You can mix the brick length desired.
We previously had them for 11$ each IIRC.
I now have 2 other buisness partners to get them from so we might be able to get for less, who knows! ;)
GB would be available worldwide, i've thought of à distribution system that would make everybody save money and time. First i have to discuss with my brothers from a foreign mother.
Post your numbers here and see if we can make this happen.
Cheers!

UPDATE
Here's what i have for now. First! We have reached the minimum numbers required for a breakout price. Still waiting on final pricing quotation from various suppliers.
The good news, what have killed me last year with that GB is that when i received the order i had 170$ customs bill added on top of the order. But this time, i'm completely bypassing that PITA.
The Brothers from a Foreign Mother.
So here's how it will work once we get this going.
-USA-
Big thanks to Forrest (culturejam) who will take reception of the order (saving on primary shipping) and then redistribute the Modules to all US participants, so US guys, you'll definitly get a better shipping rate and delivery time.
-UK/EUR-
Broski Juansolo is taking charge of the distribution for you guys. 8)
The shipping cost of the bricks from NorthAmerica to UK will be equaly divided between each participants involved in the GB, this will stay relatively low, i have to go at the post office later today to post stuff so i'll bring a sample box to get an exact quote about that.
Once the Bricks have landed, UK shipping will be 8$US and EUR 11$US.
-AustralAsia-
Guitarmaggedon is willing to assure distribution in the Wallabi world. Ben you can chime in to speak about the shipping cost within your area.
Anyone that have question or suggestion, feel free to chime in. My only goal is too get this to you guys in the best times and price.
Thanks

FINAL UPDATE
Bricks are going to be 11.50$US finally, got all my quotes from the various suppliers, tried to get them as low as i could. In fact this is the same price than last year.... so it should'nt be a biggie?
This price, with the amount of brick involved in the purchase, includes the paypal fees for each order, shipping cost of initial order to Forrest. The other trans-shipping fees are included in the oversea buyers shipping fee.
USA buyers, the best, safest and easiest way to proceed the distribution of the US purchaser is using the Flat Rate Box shipping, so 5.50$ fixed shipping in US.
If you only buy one... it's still cheaper than the single unit price at Mammoth... so i guess it's not too much of a turn off.
SUMMARY
Everything in US$
Bricks: 11.50$
Shipping:
US: 5.50$
CAN: 5.50$
UK: 8$
EUR: 11$

I'd go for at least three!
Edit: I thought this was for the BTDR-3.. I have 4 BTDR-2's on-hand so I'm good.
If you do a group buy of the BTDR-3 I will definitely be in for 4.
Cody
In for 2: 1 long and 1 short
In for 2.
In for one. Thats all I need
Im in for 1 or 2 .
Do you mean the new bricks Rej (with decay) or the older ones?
If it is the new ones then I would be in for 5 at least.
I'm holding off any more reverb builds until I can get my mitts on the new version.
I'm behind on my reverb builds and I'm down to one brick so depending on the price and the version I may be in for a few.
I'd take 2-3
Two or three for me.
Yep, I'll be up for 4 (possibly more).
Forgot to mention, it's à total of 50 all brick length together.
Honestly, i dont think i'll be able to have them under 11$, i know the "cost" price on these and 11$ is à solid deal ;)
Count me in for 2, one short + one long.
I'll probably grab 3-4 from you.
Rej; sounds Cool. Is it the new brick (with decay)?
I'll be in for one
I'll take 10 long bricks, as long as this goes ahead after payday. Bloody expensive month so far :(

I was wondering the same thing.

I'm in for 2, 1 long and 1 short
Like the OP suggest it's for the BTDR 2 in short, medium and long.
The BTDR 3 is not available and not even listed on the manufacturer website....
I should clarify that I am in for 3 or 4 if the post office is willing to deliver it to me. ;D
I'd be in for a long and a medium
I'd be in for 1
I'll be in for 2, a short and a long
2 long, 1 short

I'd go for a short and a medium.
Been looking for a reverb project...I'll go 2 one long and one short.

Impressive!
We're in the 40's! Not even counting mine! :o
Just posted the interest thread on BYOC, I don't know but if we get in the 100's, it gives a bit more leverage on dealing.
Going to Belton/Accutronics direct to get them?

I don't know yet, have to contact them first, they probably have a minimum quantity purchase... ...wich is usually pretty high.

How about shipping to us Canadians?

How about shipping to us Canadians?
Hahahaha, sorry forgot about my own land.... ::)
6$ will cover it for most orders, since it's an overweight small parcel, but still fits in a padded envellope with foam to have the brick tuck'd in.
In for 2 ...1 long 1 medium

Just trying to sort out forwarding to mainland EU costs. Currently it's £6.17 (plus jiffybags and covering the shippage to me from CJ if you're wondering why we've guessed a little more). However just to complicate matters, Royal Mail are changing the international shipping at the end of March and this is all it says:
http://www.royalmail.com/international/consumer-changes
No mention of costs... Could be interesting...
On the plus side, redistribution in the UK is easy peasy.
Once i have confirmation of the final price, i'll make a google spreadsheet for people to sign in.

And i now owe a case of beer to CJ!
Found them and as far as I can tell, international (EU) signed for is gonna be £8.70! Jesustittyf**kingchrist!
UPDATE: Actually it's more than that... It's over £9...
It might be worth trying to find someone in the mainland EU to do another redistribution, our international shipping is really expensive. To the point that you'd be looking at the price you can get a brick from Banzai all up. So there's no point.
I can still cover the UK though. That's easy.

You're sh!tting me right????? I post loads of packages of to Europe :(
Sent from my thumbs using Tapatalk!
Packages shipped from US to international are automatically at least $8 even for one ounce. You must fill out a customs form. If you can fit the item in an envelope that is under 3/4 inch thick and uniform flatness, it would be called a "flat" and 1oz is about 2.50 usd. I have lots of experience shipping packages internationally. The best bet would be to send the bulk qty to one person in each country and then they can ship domestically. I am equipped with packing materials and label printer for doing this type of thing. If I can help let me know.

As far as I can tell, comes in at the end of March. I don't ship lots, but I ship enough for that to smart a fair bit!
Thanks guys for managing all that PITA. International shipping is always expensive, also within the european mainland. I paid 13.20€ from Vienna to Germany (approx. 5h drive by car) to return a delivery (0.7 kg). Couldn't believe it! Since the company I got the package from had to pay, I didn't bother.
But I guess, it shows that it will not make much of a difference if Juansolo ships it directly from the UK or if we distribute from the european mainland on our own. Also, the question is: would it even be worth having someone to do that? as far as I can tell we are just a few guys here. Depending on the final price for the brick itself I guess I'll pay around the same as with a non GB, but it's always nice to help the community!
I'll take at least 1. Not sure which one yet.
I'm in for 3.
Thanks!

As long as we can keep it below the delivered price of Das Musikding, TAD and Banzai it's probably worth doing. I'm just not sure we can do that with shipping from the UK to the rest of Europe going up in price so much.

I'd take 5 medium (as long as there is at least a little price break over Musikding etc.)
Cheers!
UK should be much cheaper 8)
I see most people getting medium and short
What's up with the long? Why no love for the long?
Just curious
I actually have no idea what the differences are between the three, I just saw people getting the long and short so I figured I'd get one of each (long and short). ;)

Short: 2.0s
Medium: 2.5s
Long: 2.85s
Some bricks tend to suit some effects better than others. For example I like a short in a Rub-a-dub as it sounds most springy, and a medium in a Tenebrion. But that's not to say that others wouldn't prefer a long in there. It's just my preference.
I wanna do the EQD Ghost Echo for my 5-in-1, I don't know what they used in the original, but I guess I need either medium or long, right?

Thanks for clarifying! I was looking at the Tenebroin for my rv build (cause MB is currently lacking one).

Thanks Rully,
that's actually what we are doing, the initial shipment is getting divided on reception, one box to me for CAN, one box to UK for UK/EUR distribution and the remaining stays in US for the DIYers there.

Google spread sheet on his way, will make an official thread aswell, so we have full coverage of the dividing of order to their respective location and so the BroZ involved can post when they do the moves.
yeah, I will probably up mine to three possibly four
Is the shipping per brick or per order?
