First of all I must throw out huge props to Jason Lilly (Jubal) for not only the inspiration for this build, but the supply of the most excellent switch board that made it possible. *bows* You sir are a warrior and a gent.
The Lament Configuration, for those that don't know, is a puzzle box that opens a gateway into hell where all manner of pleasure and pain await. Well this one is six of my pedals pulled appart and thrown into a box of fuzz and nastiness!
The method to this madness was to take some of my favourite and have one fuzz box to rule them all. I've stuck with all silicon derivatives because they're less of a pain, and I've gone with pedals that are all quite a bit different from one another to offer the most variety.

In here we have:
A Ibanez Standard Fuzz clone from JMK
A Roger Mayer Spitfire Clone from Grind Customs
A Roland BeeBaa clone from 1776 Effects
A silicon Mosrite Fuzzrite clone from SJ Effects
Doug Hammond's Silicon Tonebender from Guitar PCB
On top of that is a Zvex SHO clone from Grind performing boost/thickening duties as a separate stompable effect on the end.

I'm really rather pleased with this one. It's perfectly achieved what I set out to do, which is all my favourite fuzzes in one box. No need to ever choose which one I want, when I can have them all! :)
What started out as a spectacularly tight build became almost easy when Cleggy suggested using the side walls to mount effects. Indeed if it wasn't for the lack of room for knobs and the need for more switching, I think I could have easily got a couple more in there!

So there you have it, probably my most challenging and satisfying build to date. The only thing I'm not 100% happy with is the decal. Originally I wanted something relating to Pandora's Box, but I couldn't get it to fit. The Hellraiser decal works, but it's still a but tight, and being shiny and dark, impossible to photograph (I must have taken well over 100 when I thought f**k it and started at the best one with Photoshop).
I love this build. A masterpiece.
That is totally sweet. Great combination of circuits, awesome wiring, panasonic caps, and Jubal's switching board looks totally sweet! Very efficient use of space too.
Thanks again for your tutorial on the finishing with adhesive inkjet decals...just got an order in of white and clear and giving it a go.
Gee Wowser! I knew you said you were going to put all that in that box and I just couldn't believe it until I saw it.
Just brilliant.
Juan, this is awesome.
What type of wire is that rainbow stuff?
Truly Epic friend, that is a truly amazing build. Honored to be a part of it.

Some I managed to snag from Coles on the forum. Ludicrously high quality ribbon. I wish I'd bought the lot off him now as I've found out how much it costs new... :o
Ahh well, we've a reel and a half to go at which should last a few years.
great job! wow
Would love to see a demo. Particularly with how the switching works. Can you only switch one of the effects in the loop at a time?
Excellent Lemarchand's box!
The double side tape is cutted to size!! This build is huge in every aspect it could be. Too bad they cannot be used at the same time.... :P

Yeah it's the same board as Jubal's bubba. So the bypass turns the fuzz on and off. Select cycles through the fuzz. I'll try and do a little crappy demo tomorrow if poss. The boost on the end is a separate effect just because sticking a SHO after fuzz rules.
Thats ultra-cool!
And fu**ing clean!
:o
Too much to take in in one viewing, fried my remaining brain cells. Love how you've hacked the "board mounted " pots.
Great great work!
omg... intense awesomeness! well done killer build, impressive in and out!!
You know, if you put some effort into this project you might have been able to squeeze another effect or two in there... ;)
Amazing!

The word "epic" is overused lately. I'm trying to find another one that works.
Thats a box full of awesome
And suddenly a challenger to Jubal's incredible build arises. Will be a fun contest. I think Leevibe nailed this one. EPIC!
I'm not sure whether the inside or outside is busier! :)
:'( i feel so inadequate ;) very cool, just a shame you can't turn them all on at once, would be fuzzmageddon ;D
Hell yes, this is the way a multi should be done! Kudos to you, sir.
Hot Damn!
That is awesome sir!
I'm speechless...Bravo!
