Title: Silvertone 1482 Tremolo
Post by: macfadyb on April 19, 2014, 07:03:24 PM
Hey guys, this may be a shot in the dark but I'm looking to build a tremolo pedal using the same circuit as the sweet silvertone 1482 trem.  I'm still getting used to translating schematic to actual component configuration in a chassis, but my biggest question to start would be about the tube (6au6) to run it.  I think this would actually be cool to include in the pedal (seen a few boost/preamp pedals out there w/ tubes), but how difficult would this be?  Maybe easier to skip the tube and opt for a different method for power?

Here's an attachment of the 1482 schematic: http://www.freeinfosociety.com/media/pdf/3234.pdf

Trem section is all the bottom left I believe

Any help in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
Brian

Phase shift oscillator and bias modulation.

Almost the same as what's in Fender amps -- the EA Tremolo will sound pretty much the same.
