Hey guys, glad to announce that GCFX is releasing the Catch22 OD, it's basically a T!mmy clone with a bi-polar charge pump setup and the 3 real clipping options of the circuit on a On/Off/On toggle switch (2 of the possible positions w/dipswitch sound essentially the same).
There's a slight modification to be made to the pots arrangement, otherwise it's perfect! It's like... more organic, more transparent... well! simply more tears than in a real T!mmy. ;)
Soon as revision is made, i'm putting up a groupbuy for this layout.
I'm also re-stocked on our DIY 3PDT board, we added another set of 9V/GND pad for daisy chaining convenience and it stills fit in a 1590A.

If some feel the need to stir up some shitz toward the release of this project, go ahead! It will be a nice reading ;)

Dry clip, i don't know where the «tic» is coming from, was'nt in the source clip... 'nyway...
How DARE you!!!!!1!!! The thought of cloning a pedal and then making some improvements really turns my stomach.
Haha brilliant. Sign me up for a few. I have built a few T!mmyz and would love seeing some changes to it.
Cody
Put me down for one as well :)
Love the silkscreen next to the toggle. Tell 'em, Rej!
Thanks guys! :)
Prior to put the groupbuy up i'll make a quick clip tomorrow, it sounds really good to me.
After building this proto, we made couple change to the hardware layout so it works perfectly in 125B enclosure with top mounted jacks and 1590B aswell, while keeping everything board mounted.
I really like how that layout came out, major kudos to the Ninja who did it. ;D

Pretty neat. Charge pumps seem to have really taken off.
Was it hard, resisting the temptation to call it Catch 33?

Haha, Yes!
'Shuggah!
Totally down for a board. Built a timmy on vero a while back, and I liked it on bass.
Looks like a great project!
I'd love to sign up for one, too!

If anyone complains about it being a Timmy, just say that the charge pump is protection so they can't be sold in the U.S., due to FCC regulations.

By the boutique definition, it's definitely not a Timmy. And frankly, once you go with a bipolar power setup, it should sound a fair bit different.
its not a timmy anyways...its a mayflower ;)
Yep, I'll be in for one or two of these. Great layout.
sweet! In

That looks awesome. I'd really love just a video breakdown of all the pedals currently on your board. I recognize several from the build threads, but I forget the others.

Thanks Jon :)
I could do that, but you imagine 15minutes of the same riff in loop!!! :o
Sounds great Rej, looking forward to trying this out.

Thanks Cody :)
I'll put up the groupbuy thread a bit later this evening, got to finish some «festivities» stuff before. ;)
