What is your opinion on the Opto-tron bypass? i'm keen to try one out instead of the usual 3PDT.

It took me a bit to find the LED on the first one. Clever! Are the resistors on the daughter board pull downs?

LEDs are hidden :) I do that a lot.
Do I recommend the Optotron? Does the pope shit in the woods? Yeah, big time ;) The ONLY downside to them is cost and I believe they're worth every penny. Everything else is upside. More robust stomps, they don't pop and they make wiring a joy.
Resistors on the daughter board are a Klone thing. Might need to be there as a bit of anti poppage. Can't remember (someone will be along any time now with the correct answer).
