Title: Look what I got today!
Post by: micromegas on June 13, 2014, 05:17:13 PM
My uncle brought this to my home today:

A lot of them seem burned and many need some cleaning and testing.

And here it is what I found usefull/cool:

Some old Mullard tubes, some RCA, some Marconi, a Tunsgram, a pair of AC128? transistors and a metal can LM??? (does some one know how to clean this whithout damaging it?)

Nice score! If you want to clean up the leads transistors and the IC, and the pins on the tubes for that matter, DeoxIT is the way to go.

Thanks! I think I have a DeoxIT can somewhere... I'll give it a try

Those transistors look like the ac125k's with the heat shield, cool score!

nope! AC180 & AC181. I have to test them to see if they are good to go

Awesome! the heat shields always make them looks more futuristic I think.
