All of those will work, depends of the amount of gain, volume, dirt you want.
I've got one built up, going to throw it in a box with a Green Bean.

Mines going into a cb-95 enclosure because the other 3 wahs I built aren't enough.
I used a 2n5088 and a bc549 I got a lot of squealing with 2 2n5088. Sounds pretty good now, unless I add the extra caps, then it squeals again.
