Title: -Shilum- Clip!
Post by: GrindCustoms on August 29, 2014, 06:52:50 AM
Here's the Shilum, an heavy drone machine made using a Machette and Thomas_H U-Boat. In other words, Hypno-BrownNote in a box! ;D

Was weird to have that much place in the enclosure.... but that's what was asked... had revenge on the knobs tho!

Naked!

I think there's room for at least 8 more boards in there.   ;)

Looks cool!

Yeah, that knob selection and layout is fantastic.

Agreed. Nice job planning hole spacing to accommodate the different sized knobs and pot rotation. I love the look you achieved.

Thanks guys, i also feel like i could have fitted bunch of other stuff in it... But i'm very happy with the control layout, everything is disposed for easy footweaking :D

Might have time to do a crap clip...

I really dig the layout for this one.  Yeah, you could've fit a lot more in there, but there are so many controls, it could've easily gotten congested.  I like this a lot.

Big knobs make every pedal better, this one goes from great to frickin' sweet. Would also love to hear a demo if you have the time!

Easy bake  :o

The videos I've seen look like someone trying to suck-start a lawn mower...

Well.... here's how it sounds, i forgot to play with the Depth/Sens and Freq control while in LFO mode, it can get very agressive or more like a wah or vowel modulation.

Great clip/demo. Had just finished ripping some Swans onto the computer and your dark, intense and repeated/looped riff fit right into that head space... more!
