Title: Line Level > Instrument Level > Line Level ....Solution?
Post by: peAk on October 02, 2014, 11:32:52 AM
Hi all,

Trying to finish up some stuff in my home studio and one thing that has got me pretty frustrated is patching in pedals to a patchbay.

What's the easiest and cheapest way to go from a line level, to an instrument level, back to a line level?

I am using an effect loop straight from my DAW and I can't seem to get this working right. I want to be able to experiment with pedal effects on already recorded tracks and not necessarily guitar tracks.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

These will also work well for your application:

I built a DI using the project and it works great.

AMZ is a great website!

Ebtech Line Level Shifter (http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/LLS2/)

You get the level shift, plus galvanic isolation to eliminate noise. Great little problem solvers.
