My local shop did not have the LM78L05 (well they did but it was labelled lm78L15A?) so I bought a LM78L06 regulator. Will this be ok to substitute the LM78L05 with in the zero point micro II?.
Thanks

The numbers behind the "L" is the voltage the regulator puts out. The LM78L05 therefore is a 5V regulator. I don't know for sure, but I think that the Pt2399 is for 5V use only, so the LM78L06 won't work. As stated, I'm not sure. Better wait for someone who knows the Pt2399 better. :)
EDIT: Just saw rullywow's answer in the other thread
