Title: Runoffgroove Ginger
Post by: televisiondown on October 14, 2014, 03:47:54 PM
This is a Runoffgroove Ginger using a TH Custom board. Great layout on the board with mounted pots! The enclosure is a Mammoth Vintage Orange Sparkle Translucent 1590B. I know what the controls are right now, but I'll probably add some black stamped letters so I remember what's what a few weeks from now.

It sounds great! Not too much gain the way I have the trimpots set, but I'm really happy with it. The tone control is very amp-like. I think this could easily be one of my favorite overdrive pedals.

Simple, clean, and elegant. I'm really liking the cupcakes on there. I'm a sucker for those knobs anyway, but they really go. Nice!

Great!
I built this too, also in brown with this kind of knobs. And what you say is true, this is one fantastic drive pedal, also for guitar, not just for bass.
"Ampeg"-wise, I prefer this one over the SFT.

Thanks, Thomas, it is very useful! Thanks for the board, too. I'm really proud of the clean look and wiring on this one. Hopefully I'm absorbing a fraction of the amazing talent this forum has!
