Now I get to play with it for a few months. My dad did the graphics as I don't have a laser printer or patience for graphics. Blue ball(s) LED. ;)
Only snafu (and the reason for the wacky wiring) was wiring the board out to 9V and 9V to board out. A few sparks were seen in the volume pot. Whoops. Once I got that sorted it was all good. Funny thing is I normally color code the ground and 9V wire for ease of building/troubleshooting.
