Wait, if you're not in the US, than going by the USPS site isn't going to help you at all. You are actually relying on your local postal service. The problem isn't with USPS at all, it's with whatever post service applies.

For example, I'm in Canada. USPS hands Canada Post the package after it crosses the border. Once it gets to Canada Post, I actually have to follow the tracking on the CP website, and I deal with them on the time it takes.

Chances are high that USPS has nothing to do with the delay. Their website's delivery date of the 28th is just estimated.

Where are you located? If you are outside the USA then you WILL NOT get 2-day delivery. The USPS 2-day delivery only applies to inter-CONUS shipments.

EDIT: You "can" get the 2-day delivery however... it will cost you BIG TIME in shipping fees  :o

Yeah, I was about to note the same.

The most common email I get with JMK PCBs is the "I placed my order a few days ago, and I haven't gotten my package yet! Where is it?"

I'm in Canada, and when I'm sending anything over the border, the best estimate is 5-15 days. That's a broad spread, but I basically can't guarantee any delivery date. It might be there quick, but it might not be. Basically, don't use the inside the US 2-day shipping guarantee as being applicable in whatever country you're in.

You realize it's a long weekend in the states right? Thursday was a holiday (no post service I think), and Friday was the most ridiculous shopping day of the year.

Just saying, every year the holidays in China make everything stop, then all of the sudden the shipments have to catch up for the full stoppage so everything is slow for a while. It's no different.

You have to take a lot of things into account when receiving shipments internationally.

1) Multiple carriers.  Like Jacob said, the handoff between USPS and whomever the intermediary/final carrier can take a couple of days at least.
2) Latent updating of USPS website.  I don't find that it's the quickest in relaying the most recent information, be it good or bad news.
3) Customs clearance - add anywhere from two days to three weeks to the shipment (I've had it both ways).

Truthfully, I'm getting things faster from China right now than I am from the States.  And the shipping is free (I still have no idea how you sell me something for $1, ship it over an ocean for free, and still make money on it).

Shipping for me has always been faster from Asia than from the world's last superpower.
