I've never been so sad in my life, I was all day waiting to buy the dirtbbaby pcb and when the sale was available I found that my credit card was already at the limit and could not buy, I am unlucky !! I hope we do not end the pcbs until I pay the bill on the 9th! :'(

Yes, their purpose and values are explained in the doc.
Ahh I see it now, sorry, must have been reading too fast!
However, I think there is a small typo on page 2, just FYI:
"Leave C15 (13?) empty if you are using 15uF for C8."

If you're just gathering parts, here's the link to the prototype version. I imagine most, if not all, parts are the same. I'd still wait until the official version is out before warming up the soldering iron though.

Yes, all the parts are pretty much the same. Sorry I am behind (many orders to pack up over the last couple of days). I will get the doc finished and up tomorrow. It is 95% done.

I'm not saying anything - I'm late getting a programming task done at work. :)
I had my Dirtbaby shipped to work so I'd have it in my hot little hands sooner (packages get to me by about 2:00, as opposed to waiting until I get home. hehe). Looks like my order was delayed a day or two, and the tracking says it'll be delivered on Saturday... Naturally, I don't work weekends. :Facepalm:

Unfortunately, it looks like the Tails mod is a dud. I worked on it for quite a while and I just did not find a solution that worked well enough. So, my apologies to anyone who was looking forward to that...at least it was a minor feature. I will spend some more time thinking about it but there is no point in holding the doc up further. An optical bypass there would work, but bringing up the LED brightness has to be slowed down otherwise it will still pop (based on my experimentation). That in and of itself may make it not optimal as well.
Thanks for giving it the ol' college try, Brian. Honestly, the DMM doesn't have tails so I'm not too broken up about it. Can you get tails by running it in a switchable loop?
