Title: Smallbear Security Certificate problem?
Post by: Justus on January 28, 2015, 03:50:44 PM
Anyone else getting an expired Security Certificate warning when visiting Smallbear's store?  My Chrome browser isn't liking it.

Not I. Are you using this address? http://smallbear-electronics.mybigcommerce.com/

Yeah, the link at the top of the forum.  I can bypass it, but it says the Security Certificate expired 3 days ago.  Maybe I need to clean my browser cache...

Edit:  Cleaned the cache, still getting the warning.  Like I said, I can bypass it and continue on to the site.  But each time I restart my browser I get the same Security Certificate Expired warning.

I get it with my bookmarked site (old one): https://www.smallbearelec.com/home.html (https://www.smallbearelec.com/home.html)

Not with the new one (in MB banner): http://smallbear-electronics.mybigcommerce.com/ (http://smallbear-electronics.mybigcommerce.com/)

Time to update my bookmarks!

I placed an order last night and did not notice any error using Google Chrome.

Ok, the link at the top of the Madbean forum page is for http://www.smallbearelec.com/home but then it re-routes you to http://smallbear-electronics.mybigcommerce.com/ after you get there.  That's why I was confirmed on the new Smallbear site (after auto-routing) but still getting the invalid certificate error before getting there.

Problem solved, lol
