Title: Vox Delay Lab power problem
Post by: AntKnee on March 26, 2015, 06:39:27 AM
I was given a Vox DelayLab, and told that it wouldn't turn on. So, naturally, I popped it open and tested the power connection... no power at the solder joints on the DC jack. I removed the DC jack, tested it, and does have power. So based on my current findings, the jack does conduct power to the board, but when soldered to the board, the solder joints show no power. This makes no sense.

I tried a different power jack and same problem. Something must be dumping all the power. Anyone have any thoughts?

did you try measuring connectivity between + and - ? just guessing now, but you could check F1, should be a fuse. maybe it's fried...
