Title: DigDug2 2kB v 2kA?
Post by: warriorpoet on August 23, 2016, 09:21:55 AM
I noticed the DigDug2 LED stage controls have 99% of their effect in the first 1/2 turn. Why not sub 2kA pots in place of the 2kB? Is there a technical reason I'm missing?

It's more of a parts issue. I don't know if they make the plastic shaft pots in 2kA. If you want with a bigger enclosure you could probably get some 2kA's in a bigger size pot.

Would this work?

It almost seems like 1kB would be enough, honestly.

I know this is very old, but I tried A2K's on my second Dig Dug and it is not better, less fine control.   Just removed all of them and replaced successfully with B2K's and feel invincible!  haha.     forgot i wanted to try the B1K option, but oh well.
