I just matched a bag of about 50 2N5457 (to build my LaserWolf)
I also have a bag of about 50 BS170 (any need to match those? What effect uses those?)
Lastly, I have a bag of about 125 J201 (any need to match those? What effects uses those?)

I'm curious, where the hell did you manage to get bags full of JFETs and how much of your soul did you have to sell to get them? ;)
As for the J201's, they are even more in demand in higain pedals then 2N5457's and yes, they have to be matched as well. A LOT of Wampler pedals use matched J201's, even specifically matched J201's. That's why they are even more expensive then 2N5457's. As for the BS170's, I've not heard of any pedals that require them to be matched. Yet.
Anyone remember the day when you used J201's in Millenium bypass switches because the J201 and DPDT switch together were a lot cheaper then a 3PDT switch?
Most of them I got from a man that was getting out of the hobby and I did a bulk purchase of all he had. Their was also other stuff in that treasure like BBD chips and other goodies. I always keep an eye out for people selling out stuff because they are getting out.
