Title: LED holder/bezel help
Post by: fasteddie455 on June 30, 2017, 11:28:12 AM
I am working on mounting the LEDs to the enclosure and have bought 2 different threaded metal holders. The problem I'm having is the "plug" that fits in the opening does not go all the way in enough to contact the butt end of the LED; thus the led id nit being held up into the bezel well. The other type of holder's "plug" pushes in far enough but does not have enough grip so that if  you push down on the LED at all the LED sinks down into the bezel. Does anyone make something that holds the LED in place snugly? or what am I not doing right?
everyone here has been so helpful...I certainly do appreciate it!

I usually put the led close enough to the switch to solder one leg straight to the switch and make a whole just big enough for the top of the led.
