Title: Gilmourizer 3
Post by: juansolo on July 01, 2018, 10:44:06 AM
It's been a long time coming! Parts of this have been built for well over 12 months, maybe longer... We've been slack.

So in here is a 280kg Gorilla Compressor (DOD280 clone from Jason), into a DGM3 muff, into a noise gate, into EP Boost from Fuzzdog into a Deux Profundis delay. The switches are to turn the effects on and off for setup, but they're all designed to be set up as a single effect, hence the single stomp.

Very nice.  I like the pink floyd graphics.  That's one large pedal.

So it's 280KG of circuitry packed into a 1KG enclosure? :)

Nice stuff!

Possibly, we'll get Tom to record something next time he's over if we remember.

how do you know if everything will sound good together? have you built all the circuits separately to figure order? do you just check the schem for phase issues? just curious. i've built some that i thought would be a good idea and ended up with needing to split them.

Usually we'll try all the individual effects together first before building a multi like this. In this particular case we did that for number 1 and 2. This one, though we've changed odd effects in it, their function is the same so we didn't bother as we knew it'd be there or there abouts.
