I put 9 volts ac insead of dc.Led lit up for a second then faded out .Then unplugged and put in 9 volts DC but did not work.Changed regulater and input and zener dioDes but still does not work and led doesn't work either.Tried another 1054 but still nothing.Any ideas on what all part should of burned out?
Get a DMM and probe around a bit. When plugged in are you getting 9V at the +9 and 0V at the ground? The chip voltages are listed in the build docs and will give you some numbers to look for.
