Is there an easy way to bypass the chargepump? Or would just plugging an 18v right into it work fine?

Nope.
A Klone runs the first opamp at 9v, and the second at +18/-9v
There are variations of Klones that just use 18v I think, but if I remember correctly, the Sunking is an exact Klon clone.
So only works with 9v. Darn. Thanks for the info though.

Remove D6 (won't be needed), C19, C20, C21, and C22 (not needed). Jumper D7 and D8. Remove the charge pump chip. Jumper the holes for pins 3 and 5.
It will not sound as good but it will work just fine.
