Title: Reading Potentiometer Values (Bourns Plastic Shaft)
Post by: Chimo on June 16, 2020, 06:28:55 AM
I have a few Bourns plastic shaft pots that do not conveniently have their values printed on them in the same format as some other pots that I have. I am trying to decipher the following codes: A1 05; B1 04; and B2 53. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

A is log, B is linear. 105 is 1M, 104 100K and 253 is 25K. I think!

yep, generally on components where printing space is limited you get 3 digits total. the third one is how many zeros to add behind the first two
