Title: Slurpee
Post by: Backwards9 on September 20, 2020, 12:13:28 PM
Just finished building the Slurpee/Bassballs clone.
I'm not getting any auto wash from it but the tone section seems to be working.
I've tried various transistors and ICs with no luck.

Anyone build one of these that works?

I think there are mistakes in the MBP layout around Q3.

Can anyone confirm this?
I won't have time to go over it with a comb for a week or more.

Finally got back to this pedal and did diagnostics.

Turns out that I had 4 different wires going to offboard parts that had breaks in them.
Clearly I won't be purchasing from that seller again.

Call the Slurpee *VERIFIED*

It's a nice step up from the stock Bassballs design. The tone knobs seem to vary in usefulness depending on what you're running into the pedal. I recently built a Nurse Q and I think I might prefer the Slurpee.
