Title: Effectslayouts Hot Bod
Post by: Thewintersoldier on November 13, 2021, 06:58:05 AM
Here is effectslayouts Hot Bod. It's his take on the old DOD fx91 bass drive. It's not super high gain so it's a low to mid gain drive but it has a clean blend for adding versatility and preserving low end. Having played this on my p-bass for several hours I can get all kinds of overdrive tones with ease. I wish more bass drive pedals had the clean blend and that there where more bass centric projects like this with the blend. Simple build, low parts count and ease to dial in make it a winner in my book.
Went with no film on light violet tayda enclosure. Went with Psylocke on the cover because simply put, she has a hot bod. And Olivia Munn...come on now.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20211113/4d5360d8e52aed12b2c75a9463db0f8f.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20211113/34c16335b718d91bd88952806e36b339.jpg)

We don't need no stinking blend, high gain bass all the way!!!! Nice. I love a good bass overdrive.

Nice description of the circuit- if it is as you say, I know a guy who needs one very badly.
(that means I need to build 2)

That came out great! And I may need to contract you to write product/circuit descriptions. lol Glad you dig it

I would do it for boards, maybe you could start expanding modulation offerings...thats my thing.
