Title: I want enclosures with hammertone & powdercoat finishes...
Post by: pauloman80 on August 09, 2010, 05:26:02 PM
But I can never seem to find any!  Every time I come across someone who makes 'em, it turns out I'm six months too late and they don't make 'em any more.  Where are you guys getting your sweet finished enclosures fromthese days?

Jacob

I know he does.  I contacted him.  He said he's not doing them anymore because the payoff isn't worth the amount of time he spends working on them.  I nearly cried.  His work is un-freakin'-believable, and it's out of reach.  :'(

I had to navigate around a bit because the colors weren't where I thought they'd be, but them's some good-lookin' colors & finishes!  Thanks for the tip!

No problem buddy, glad I could help.  They do a fine job and they ship very quickly.
Careful with ordering some of the caps there, esp. the orange drops.  They are pretty big and would prolly work better in an amp design than the tight little layouts we use here.  Don't ask how I know.  :D

Sorry to hear that John is not doing enclosures anymore. He did great work. PPP is very good as well.

Just another plug for PPP.

I had a customer that had a special finish request. He had the enclosure painted and shipped to me.

To make a long story short, there was an issue with the finish.

They stood by their work and resolved the problem, and I would HIGHLY recommend them!
