Brian is the board of the new fabbed fatpants 2.0 significantly smaller than the etched one?  Is it as small as the etched slambox?

It's about the same size with more stuff on it. It should fit in a 1590A. They will be here in 3-4 days, so I'll get a pic up when they arrive.

man I see those clear chickenheads on ebay but they just seem like too much money to spend on knobs. Is there a cheaper source?

I saw some pots at mouser (I think) that had clear shafts for led's.  I think they were pc mount though.

so the pot itself has a built in LED?  i'm confused here.  they only go up to 100k?

The pot is hollow, so you can mount an LED inside it. For mine, I used a little bit of perf to mount the PCB pins and the LED. It was really easy.

I guess they only go up to 100k. That's the only value I've gotten so far, so I never noticed.

How does the Fat Pants do after an OD or before an overdriven amp?  I've read people claiming the EP Pre and Badger Plex do well after an OD.  Some say it makes the OD sound more articulate and dynamic.  I am considering this build for the future.
