Title: Smallbear Pots
Post by: masterlk on November 14, 2010, 10:12:31 AM
Hey guys - The pots I got from Smallbear have a little tab on the right side which prevents it from laying flat in the enclosure. From all the build reports I've seen, I don't see that anyone is drilling a small hole to accommodate for this. Is everybody just clipping the tabs off? Thanks in advance.

For example Smallbear part number 1005A

Pliers and wire cutters will work for this (I never use those tabs). Just don't pull the pot shaft while doing it...you could mess the pot up (speaks from experience)!

i haven't been doing it so much lately, but if you've got the time, it may be worth drilling the extra holes. it makes your pots super-stable in the enclosure. just make sure your knobs are large enough that they'll cover the hole.
