Post by: rockappalla on November 25, 2012, 01:48:12 AM
Here it is, sounds great,HERE'S (http://"http://soundcloud.com/rockappalla/octaver") a ultra quick clip! I just finished it, and it worked first time! yay!

And here's another clip with the amp in the room (marshall DSL)miced with a really cheap microphone...

The box wasn't meant to be relic'd, I just f%&$&d up the paint and started sanding it...when I decided to stop, i like it...LOL

I think your mess up looks great.  Looks like an old circus poster or an old box of detergent.  I can't decide.  Either way it looks great.  The low rider is one of my favorite beans.

Nice playing.  What did you use for the tremolo effect?

Great clip, think I might have to build one of these!

Also good to see I'm not the only one who accidentally relics their enclosures ;D I did exactly the same today trying to sand out a tiny scratch and ended up taking loads of finish off.

Hey, thats a great soundclip. As well as a cool box design:)

What stuff do you use in the recording chain, besides the octave effect? I kinda liked the overall guitar sound, really.

Cheers!

Thank you!
I used my marshall DSL as a preamp and then recorded through cab impulses in Logic...
