Title: Wolf Shirt Hi pitched whine
Post by: Zerstorte Zelle on April 14, 2013, 03:32:17 PM
High whine present in my last of 3 wolf shirt builds while the other two are fine. You can even hear it slightly when the effect is bypassed.

What gives?

Hi mate, i had the same problem with the one that i built, and i narrowed it down to the power supply i was using, used a 9v battery, problem fixed. 2 out of 3 of your builds work fine, so this may not be your problem, but it fixed mine, all the best, Matt.

Lead dress could be the cause of hearing it in bypass. You might need to separate your wires more.

Hmmm ok. Ill check it out. It is the only one Ive built in a 125 with top mounted jacks. Also it could be called and oscillation I suppose. It's pretty aggressive.
