Tech Help - Projects Page / LowRider debugging

Hi everyone,

I've just built a LowRider -- sweet sound -- but I have a bit of a hiss / hum on the 2-octave down channel. It's quite audible, especially past the 12 o'clock mark. I'm wondering if this is to be expected?

My octave up is also rather fuzzy / distorted (even without the C12/C10 mod) -- is this normal as well? Not sure what to expect from it.  The trim-pot doesn't seem to have much of an effect on the sound.

The 1 octave down sounds amazing (and so does the 2-down, minus the hum). Fantastic tracking.

I did double-check capacitor values resistor values, chip and diode orientation.

Thanks,
dB
