Build Reports / Re: Acetone Fuzz Master fm-2

I prefer the FM-2 for its super quiets noise floor. The other two are noisy.

I believe that project is a straight up copy of the Madbean Stage Fright. My stage fright does the same thing. The extra "bonus" stage cuts a lot of bass. The setting that sounds good is the stock setting, the lilted one is the extra stage.

Super cool. Sounds like dueling clean Clari(not)s with repeats and lfo. I kinda...

Check out the Electric Druid FilterFX. It is Mutron based i believe. The S/H mode alone is worth the build.

Low gain Germaniums work well in Fuzz Factories too.

Great looking build. I absolutely love mine. it's a ripper. I use it as a metal preamp in 9v mode.

I've used an Orange Tiny Terror for the last decade. It suits my clean and dirty bass and guitar testing needs.

HI

I found out I made an error, hence the dwell control wasnt working right

I had R10 as 390r not 392k
Changed to right value, boom, working perfect.

cheers
Sweet! I'm glad you got it sorted. enjoy!

Super cool. It neat seeing all the ways folks put these together. I keep my tank in a bubble wrap sock. I love this reverb. I dig your art.

Cheers. so you didnt do the spring mount stand offs at all?
Nope. I just stuffed it into a couple layers of mouser bubble wrap envelopes until the bundle filled the empty space in the enclosure and popped the lid on. I get no splash when i move it so I'm happy with it.

The zip file has the updated pdf, but the linked pdf is still the old one.

Your browser cache might be pulling the old one. The new one is definitely uploaded (I just double checked both in my browser and with ftp). On the projects page, try holding down your Shift button while reloading the page. That may fix the problem for you.
Derp. Yup. Thank you. I had been looking at the OG doc when you posted.
