Did you use 1/8w resistors at all?  It looks like maybe a couple on the switch.

Super neat! How'd you later the boards or are they just sitting like that?

I mounted the lower one on the switches below and then I mounted the upper one on acrylic spacers and mounted those to the pots/switches below with double sided tape.  The pot was lower, so I needed yet another acrylic spacer to bring it to the height of the toggle switch.

Darn.  I thought it was magic.  Beautiful work!  (again.)

Good enough.  I'll make my own PCB mount.  Thanks

Anybody know where to get B2M PCB mount pots for the Sharkfin?  I haven't found any yet.  Or should I make one out of a B1M and a resistor?

You MUST give us a tutorial on tolex wrapping before Thomas gets restocked on these boards.

Sounds simple enough.

So.... how's this new TTT coming along??

Anybody added a volume control to a Line 6 modeling pedal?  Specifically, an FM4 with an output above unity that I want to be able to cut back.  I haven't so much as opened one of these things up so I don't know what would be involved.

Yeah, your experiment is definitely lacking the hype.  But if you hype it too much you'll have to get a bigger card table.

Well, I would go raise the bid on it.  BUT, it's just a Tube Screamer.

Gorgeous build!

Silly question but...I've seen that metal tube protector on more than one build and would like to use it as well (I've three Valve-e-Tizer boards waiting)...what is it? Where do I go looking for it in (supposedly) the hardware store?

Just ask for a standard u-bolt.  Take your tube to the hardware store to measure which size bolt to get.  And buy a couple extra nuts for inside the enclosure.

Have you thought about putting a new thin layer of enviro over it, wouldn't matter if it was sticky underneath a hard top layer, worth a shot.

Right now I'm leaning toward ignoring it since it's not too bad but that's another thing to consider versus stripping it all off straight away.

Ok.  That is RIDICULOUS.  Awesome job on that one.  How did you manage the recessed top?  Let me guess.. Did you glue a little wooden frame around the top of the enclosure, apply the tolex to the enclosure/frame and then add the recessed top panel??  Anyway it looks great.

I vote for a BLMS T-Shirt, same graphic as the sticker!    ;D

+1000.  I would wear it.

Not me.  I need my wardrobe to maintain an air of decorum.  Speaking of which.. what ever happened to those MB shirts?  THAT I would put in my shirt rotation!  Sorry, wrong thread.

New Update:  There's a bidder!

I was going to "ask the seller" if that price included a bottle of DIY mystery goop but I didn't want to sabotage the experiment.
