Thanks!

I'm building an UPROAR. The diodes mentioned are for D1 - D4: http://www.madbeanpedals.com/projects/Uproar/docs/Uproar.pdf

Can you tell if these diodes are right?

They should be fine -- you'll get more distortion with the lower clipping threshold, but clipping dodes are almost never "wrong." Just "different." One thing I might do, however, is socket R13. If you find the germanium position to be a bit extreme, bumping up that resistor a little would give you the opportunity to tone it down some.

Thank you very much!

It's a version of eTools for iOS before iOS5.0 with a little simple interface and full fuctional. (If You have iOS5.0+ look at eTools)
eTools Legacy is a powerful virtual toolbox which combines a lot of useful reference materials with electronics tools (calculations, conversations, coding/decoding, etc) in one application in your iOS family devices. Professional or hobbyst can easy recive most of necessary informations or calculation results at some simple finger touches.

General Questions / Questions about CAPS
November 10, 2012, 08:59:24 PM
Hi electromagicians!

I want to build these pedals but the partslist is not clear about what type of cap to use.
Could someone specify (film, ceramic, silver mica, elco or tantalum)?
http://madbeanpedals.com/projects/Glitterrattii/docs/Glitterrattii.pdf

It's better specified here, but still not specified per part:
http://madbeanpedals.com/projects/Serendipity/docs/Serendipity_ver.5.pdf

Thanks!
