That looks great! Love the flames! I've been looking for a Purple Plexi board.

Nice! I've always wanted to get a valve Jr and mod it. They just seem like they would be really fun to tinker with.

Both helped a lot! Thank you very much! Sorry for being such a noob.  :-[

Yes that would work. I just wanted to see if there was something out there first so I didn't have a chance of an error. I'm really OCD and if it's off by just a fraction I'll go nuts.  lol

I'm going to go with side jacks, 1 switch can be on either side and the 9v jack on top. I don't have a problem getting them where I need them. Just getting the spacing right on the pots across the top. This is what I'm wanting to go for. It's for the madbean Chunk Chunk. I like the looks of the enclosure being sideways.

I'm trying to find a drill template for a 1590bb that's sideways and has 6 knobs across. The only ones I can find have 3 knobs across. Thanks.

That looks really good! I really dig the worn look. Kind of a classic rat rod look.

Hey Everyone! I was a little nervous about posting, so I reached out to Paul  ( I started off watching all the videos he posts on his youtube channel), and he told me I had nothing to worry about, and that this place wasn't like most forums. Everyone has mad respect for each other and their ideas. Which I am way down with it. Oh yea, another dude I know told me to quit lurking and say something already! So here I am...

Anyways, I'm relatively new to building but I'm sure like most of you, I really really dig it and fell in love rather quickly. I've got a few build under my belt but nothing crazy. Well, I just wanted to say hi and start off on the right foot! No more lurking for this hombre, I hope to be posting fairly regularly from here on out!

-upthepunxxx!
Welcome aboard. I was like you and lurked for a while before posting. I've been on several music related boards and had to deal with a lot of grouchy unhelpful members. You won't find that here. Everyone is laid back and have no problem answering even the most simple questions.
So welcome to your new home and be sure to post lots of pics.  ;D

Nice work Raven!  Seriously, if this is your 2nd, i cant wait to see your 20th.  Oh yeah, its gunna happen :D

Still waiting for those correct sized daughter boards to come in, hope the undersized boards weren't too much of a headache for you? (they look like the small ones?)
Thanks Paul! The undersized boards wasn't too bad. I do understand why you are making them bigger though.

Nicely done, i don't know how you squeezed it all in the 125b enclosure!  :P
I squeezed all of that into a 1590b! It was a huge headache. I don't know if I want to try it again. haha

I use a small toaster oven and I was able to sand it the next day. I put thin coats on and put it in the oven for 20 mins between each coat. Once this crazy winter storm goes away we are getting. I plan on making a how too on spray painting.  Here is a guitar I did last summer using Rustoleum paint and lacquer. This took longer to cure though since it was too big for my oven.

General Questions / Re: Waterslide decal problem

After making another decal I ended up taking a hair dryer to it till it dried. I'll try the lacquer trick next time. Thanks!

I was going to ask a similar question? But mine was about clear coat. Night now I use spray paint and I can't seem to get the paint even, or the clear coat to even out. I'd like to see what others use.

I use rustoleum paint and clear. After I lay down the color I let if fully cure. Then I wetsand before laying down a clear.
