General Questions / Re: Current lover flanger
June 07, 2019, 09:59:06 AM
I've not looked at this build for a long time.... In fact I shelved the pedal and moved onto other things as I was needed to work on other projects. I've now started to look back on older unfinished projects and this one has reared its head.... I'll check the voltages on the IC's and also for solder bridges. Once i have all the info i'll repost the results.

So, I've changed the polarity on the LED for the LFO and it's now working. Strange as the standard convention for diodes is the negative goes into the square pad, not the other way around.

Anyhow, the volume level is still way too low to be usable.......

General Questions / Current lover flanger

I've just built a current lover and have a couple of questions regarding the build.
First off, although I'm getting a flanging effect the volume drop when the effect is engaged is huge.... and likely not as it should be. Even with the volume trimmer right up it's way too quiet.
Secondly the LFO led has been connected I assume correctly with the negative short lead on the square pad, and the positive lead on the round pad, as is the standard convention with leds.... however the LFO isn't working.

Cheers in advance

Andy
