Everything I've shipped internationally since the beginning of March (from the USA) has been delayed.

I suspect the trend was spread by the internet....

It was a little different here though, no one seemed to be hoarding anything except hand sanitizer and clorox wipes.   Ironically there was plenty of hand soap available everywhere.   

Yesterday the food and toilet paper disappeared all at once.   I don't think anywhere here took it serious until it affected the sporting events.

It's a transistor fuzz similar to a Tone Bender or Fuzz Face with an opamp-based input buffer and tone recovery / output stage.

Q3 is used as a clipping diode, it's the counterpart to D1.

The tone control is similar to a 'Muff.

#1 sounds like fake / mislabeled part
#2 is normal if you're using one of the budget transistor analyzers from Amazon/AliExpress/China, I have some of these and they identify correctly on my DCA75.

The biggest problem before is they were not getting full address info so packages were getting lost because they had no street addresses!

This is exactly how ShipStation works.    You have to make absolutely certain none of the address lines contain international characters (they'll be converted to question marks or little squares when the relabeler tries to print the label), and that none of the lines contain more than 50 characters (they'll just cut the text off)...

They don't ask questions when there's a problem, they either trash the shipment or return it.

It's looking promising for re-introducing less expensive Int'l shipping based on the response so far. Of course, the new rates are going into effect this weekend so we'll see how painful of an increase there is!

Are you referring to the GAP offered by Stamps.com (or ShipStation)?   

Overall it's working fairly well...   

Occasionally you'll have a shipment take two or three months to arrive for absolutely no reason whatsoever, and a few are going to disappear from time to time...   The third party relays screw up.   I've had people receive packages with my shipping label but contents from Amazon....  It happens.  (imagine the poor guy who thought he was getting a new Fire Stick only to find some weird little circuit board things made by a bicycle rental company in Panama City Beach)

Everything will go perfectly smooth for six months, then out of nowhere it will seem like every shipment has an issue .... overall I'd say the success rate is about 90 - 95%.

The biggest issue I see is that I don't think customs knows what to do with them.... Sometimes they'll be returned as "Undeliverable" with no explanation, I turn around and reship them exactly the same way and they make it with no hiccups.

You need to make sure the addressing is absolutely perfect or the relabeling folks won't know what to do.   Make sure there are NO international characters in the address, and that the length of each string doesn't exceed 50 characters.    Also any shipment to Brazil now requires the customers CPF in the Address Line 2 or it will either be returned or disposed by Brazilian Customs.

Things happen.... It's not just GAP though, I had a USPS Priority Mail shipment returned to me last week that was shipped in July 2018.....   

Netnnk is going through his original pedal and I am drawing up a schematic of the OEM pedal with ref designaters and part numbers that match the BOSS ones so there will be a correct full schematic online soonish.

- Does diptrace really only care about pin numbers? I can have a really large board, but as long as I stay within the pin count I'm fine?

Yep.   The free version has a 300 pin limit, non-profit has a 500 pin limit.

- How intuitive is it to switch over? Am I gonna struggle to export my Gerbers and images for my Build Docs, or is it pretty much the same?

I never could bond with Eagle...  DipTrace just behaves more like modern software should in my opinion.
Once you set your Gerber configuration (I can send you a screenshot if you need it) it's just a couple clicks to export Gerbers...  File > Export > Gerber / Export All, then File > Export > N/C Drill / Export All.   Zip up the files it produces and you're ready to go.

Images for build docs are just as easy.. File / Preview if you want a 2D raster of the board, or click the 3D button if you want a 3D render. (or VRML output)

- How is it to import/use my old Eagle Libraries?

Relatively simple.    There is an Eagle script to export the libraries in Eagle .scr format, DipTrace supports importing the .scr format.
You might have to go through afterwards and rename some pins just for convenience sake.

I use and like Eagle but am slowing moving toward KiCad.  Diptrace to me seems like a company likely to disappear at some point.

I'm all for open source and would love to adapt to KiCad, but it just feels so clunky to me.     I agree DipTrace isn't produced by a company as big as Autodesk, but it's been around for 17 years, and Eagle has already been sold once.    Who knows what Autodesk has planned for the future of Eagle?   Subscription-based pricing is a huge turn off for me as well... 

The Eagle + Fusion 360 integration is pretty cool, but realistically there are only a few enclosure sizes that I use so it's not all that useful in the long run.
I have to admit, I do like the appearance of schematics exported from Eagle better than DipTrace though.

The updated components were not specifically intended to address oscillation.   I've never personally experienced oscillation on either revision of the circuit.

The differences between the original FZ-2 circuit and the Hyped Fuzz circuit were intentional:

1) The capacitor multipler on VCC isn't particularly necessary
2) Parallel polarity protection (diode shunt to ground) is destructive... just say no.
3) M5218 SIL opamps...   
4) The differential amplifier portion of the discrete version technically should be built using a pair of matched 2SK184 JFETs

#4 is the big "gotcha", and the primary reason the discrete input stage was converted to an opamp stage...

The input stage isn't just a random opamp gain stage thrown in the place of the discrete transistors, it's a conversion of the original gain stage.... but more importantly, this is a clean boost in front of a freakin Superfuzz circuit, not a transparent crystal lettuce overdrive.   If you can hear the difference your ears are far superior to mine.   

When I'm back at my computer I can send you the original schematic so you can compare.
The Hemmo P schematic can be hard to follow.

Referencing the Hyped Fuzz schematic, make sure these values are correct on your schematic:

This is where the difference in tone came from...  The updated circuit has been A/B'd against an original FZ-2 and is basically indistinguishable.

The "Hemmo P" schematic is incorrect.

The Hyped Fuzz circuit shouldn't oscillate at any setting.... I don't have an original FZ-2 anymore, but I don't recall it oscillating either.

The guy you're referring to on Reddit is just trying to promote his own PCB. 

The difference is that the input gain stage has been converted from hard to find FETs to a similarly functioning opamp circuit.
The first version of the Hyped Fuzz was drawn from the "Hemmo P" schematic.  This is where the incorrect values came from.

The component values have all since been updated to the original Boss schematic.   Make sure you're using the most up-to-date schematic for your values.

My primary focus is affordable one-off UV printing.

There's always been a gap there.

Since your offerings are all designed for 125b, do you plan on stocking just that size? Or are you going to maybe stock others? 1590a, 1590b, and 1590bb get a lot of use.

Initially I'll start with 125B, but have no problem getting the other common sizes as well.

The issue right now is that PPP is not cheap, like at all.... and the price cut for larger batches doesn't amount to much.    Once you factor in shipping cost and taxes the price goes up just to break even.     But, what else can we do?     We're in a position of either paying a few dollars more each, or not having access to them at all.

Besides, if I'm able to get the UV printer as planned (hoped), we're going to need powdercoated enclosures.

Ahh heck, someone has to do it...   

I'll stock PPP enclosures and sell individually, what colors do we want?     Will have to start off with a few and see how things go.

I don't know a whole hell of a lot about what's going on, but I can tell you it's not Stewmac.
