Thanks guys!

It sounds great. Really punchy with a LOT of output. The Sustain control doesn't have a whole lot of usable range, but it is nice to have.

If you want just the usable range for it, use a 1k pot in series with a trimpot instead of just replacing the trim with an external pot. Especially because you built it for someone else. No one likes to bump their pedal an think it broke ...

I thought about that after I had it all built. I read where another dude used a 5k pot and a resistor in series. I like the idea of a lower value trimmer and pot together though. I didn't have any lower value pots on hand though.

The guy I built it for is a home player and I explained the situation to him, so it's not a big deal this time. But I'll be sure to do that if I build another.

Orange Squeezer I finished last night for a local dude. Vero layout from Sabrotone.

Thanks for this. I've been trying to follow along fairly closely to the situation, but I'm all the way across the country. Good to hear from someone a little closer.

The frustration is understandable. I hope deescalation can happen and peaceful accountability can be reached.

Lovely etches! I dig the orange one, a lot. The pattern is beautiful and it almost seems like you did the etch through the paint

Thanks! Funny you mention that.

I actually kind messed up on this one, or at least did something unintentionally. The bare metal on the Super Fuzz is at the same level as the orange border, so I had to be very careful sanding around the edges of the design. You can actually see where I didn't get quite all of it sanded.

Thanks Guys!

These were both etched using HP Presentation Paper for the transfer and muriatic acid/hydrogen peroxide for the etchant. My buddy Jesse sent me hard copies of the art, I scanned them in and printed them out at Office Max.

Painted with Valspar flat and clear coated with Krylon Matte.

I'll try to get some gut shots up tonight.

Hey Guys!

I knocked out a couple of fuzzes this weekend. They're both being traded to a friend for some of his art. The art on the pedals is his art as well.

Thanks!

Yeah. That was my question. I was working backwards from the vero layout.

I'll change the signal flow when I make the Eagle schematic.
