Archiving both up and down sweeps I guess the envelope signal has to be shifted around 2.5V offset but with a maximum output of 5V.

Still I'm looking for a suitable circuit.  :(
The MFOS envelope follower looks good in terms of adjustable wah range as offset.
Intensity, attack and decay controls are missing.

An interesting article about attack and decay can be found here:

Some say that simple envelope followers suffer from ripple which has to be filtered out properly.

Limiting with a voltage divider is an option if the maximum output swing of the IC is known.
Does anyone know, what the maximum output swing of a TL074 /TL072 with a single 9V power supply is?

Another great pedal by David Rolo caught my attention:

Obviously Druid's StompLFO has been used to modulate the phaser circuit.
Any ideas how the envelope detector could look like?
It has to be limited to 5V maximum.
I've been looking for a simple way to control the CV inputs of the PICs for weeks and I would love to build something like a external envelope CV pedal that is connected directly to the guitar and sweeps the controls of the modulation pedals in the FX loop my amp.

The new Twin Peaks Tremolo has an option to flip the phase of the envelope follower as well.

Any ideas or even a circuit suggestion?

Thanks!

Enjoy the holiday weekend with your family!

TY. Gotta say - I've made a 180 on where I was a few weeks ago. I'm back to being super productive and enjoying this pedal stuff again. Work is good for the soul.

Glad to hear that.
Looking forward to all upcoming projects and developments.  :)

General Questions / Man O' War Tap Tempo?
August 18, 2019, 05:46:53 AM
Hi guys,

Having finished a Total Recall delay and another DMM clone I wonder which delay would come next?
The DMM delays don't suite me much in my fx loop so I'm looking for another one and found the upcoming Man O' War project.
There seem to be two versions, where one's including a LFO while the other one has none. I was planning to build a PT2399 pedal which is modulated by a StompLFO from Electric Druid but wonder now, if an analog pedal can be hooked up just the same?
The Man O' War does have a vactrol as well so replacing the LFO should be fine..
What do you guys think?  :)
