I got some 12F509 through my work, and they appear to be programming properly with my Pickit2 clone.  I'm going to breadboard the circuit just to make sure.

Dou you have a layout available?  I have an afterlife that I love, but would love to build this.

General Questions / Basic PT2399 Delay PCB
October 20, 2022, 08:23:26 PM
Hi all,

I got a few PT2399's years ago, but never really used them.  I'm looking for a PCB for a basic PT2399 delay, so that I can try them out, as well as experiment with the various mods available (modulation, tape stop effect posted in this forum, tap tempo, etc).

Thanks!

I've had good luck with Thonk UK: https://www.thonk.co.uk/shop/vactrols-vtl5c/
They always have a broad selection of Xvive vactrols.
The downside is the exchange rate of #sterling to USD, but I've never had any problems with being shipped a bad photocoupler.

Thanks!  I didn't even think to check Thonk.  At this point, I'd buy from just about anywhere  ;D.

Tech Help - Projects Page / DigDug2 VTL5C9

Hi all,

I have a DigDug 2 PCB which I'm finally going to get around to populating.  With (trustworthy) VTL5C9's pretty much non-existent, what are my options as far as a sub for the VTL5C9?

Thanks!

Open Discussion / Rate for Fixing Pedals
September 21, 2017, 07:32:55 PM
Hi all,

I get asked all the time to fix pedals, but I never have any idea on what to charge.  For those who fix as well, do you have a specific rate?

Thanks!

Awesome job, and I love the design of the PCBs.  What are circuits based on?

Looks awesome!  How much did the transformer set you back?

Any projected date for the Triumvirate?  I'm extremely interested in that one!

I voted for the Beta Bass Preamp, as I'd love one of those to build.

A pretty extensive bass preamp. I'm about to get boards fab'd that include the input, tone controls, HPF, comp and drive sections as well as balanced outputs and a power board. Not sure how long you want to wait, but I'll have a few extra that I'm going to try to get rid of.

I would be interested in those boards!

Yeah, I just tried the op275 with mine, and I really like it.
