I have Arion flanger that I want to rehouse. It has stereo output and 5 pin pcb mount input jack. I want to replace the pcb mount jacks with solder lug open jacks. Wondering if anyone has done this?
Thanks

Build Reports / RustBucket
April 12, 2016, 01:32:28 PM
I finally finished my RustBucket, and it sounds awesome. I think it's my favorite pedal I've built. I biased it rather quickly. I turned the blend all the way up, picked my guitar, and rotated the trimmer until a got strong glorious swell. I'll probably fine tune it later today, and label the pots. But it sounds great as it is.

Build Reports / Retrograde/Nom Nom/Dirtbaby 3in1
May 12, 2015, 06:12:30 PM
This is my first build report. It's a Retrograde/NomNom/DirtBaby 3in1. I did the drilling on the fly so it's not perfect. I used 1n695's for the diodes on the retrograde. I chose 22k for r35 and 220k r37 for the chorus/vib for the DirtBaby. For the Nom Nom I tried to do a mix pot mod. I turned r28 into a 1meg pot. But it doesn't work as a straight up mix pot, it reacts to the speed knob. It sounds really cool so I'm gonna leave it. Not quite sure what it's doing in circuit. So there it is... my first build report.  :)                     P.s. I have since put knobs on it.

Mods / Zero Point Mini Mix Mod
June 29, 2014, 02:16:01 PM
I was wondering if it is possible to lower the dry signal of the Zero Point Mini, so I can get more delay signal.
I think it would fun to try.

Hi guys!
I got my Zero Point Mini working. But the Feedback pot doesn't do the infinite repeat when turned all the way up. It works put doesn't go to full range. Also my ring mode switch doesn't do anything. I think that it's tied to feedback pot somehow, but not sure. Any help with where in circuit I should start looking at would great.

Tech Help - Projects Page / Zero Point Mini Help
May 12, 2014, 04:30:43 PM
Hi guys,
I just finished a Zero Point Mini and it won't fire up. So I built myself a audio probe and found I am losing signal at R16. Which connects to (pin14) LPF2 out of the Pt2339 via C17(1n5 cap). I have a few Pt2339 I've tried with no results. My voltages are
Pt2339                                    TL072 1 7.9   5 8.5       TL062 1 0.0   5 8.50                   Regulator 1 9.05
1 5.06 9 thru 16 are all 2.45             2 7.85   6 7.9                2 4.0   6 4.19 -4.22 - 4.27                2 0.0

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

General Questions / another Mangler 2014 question
April 16, 2014, 11:54:07 AM
Hello,
I have a quick question. I populated and wired up my Mangler. And I noticed I have npn 2n299's. I have the new version with the road rage in the circuit. Do I wire this up the same way as the original Mangler? And do I still flip all of the electro's and diodes in reverse?
I just wanted to make sure so I don't fry nothing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.  :)

General Questions / Mangler 2014 Question
April 14, 2014, 01:57:36 PM

I have a Mangler 2014 board, I'm going to start on today. I was wondering if I can sub a 20pf for the 10pf? I think it's for the charge pump section of the board.
If anyone can help, it would much appreciated.
thanks

Hey guys,
I've got another build to debug, it was a bad week.
I built a zero point dd delay, and when I fired it up all I got was a clock noise, tick sound.
I was wondering if anyone knows what might cause this?
This is my first Delay pedal and I have no idea where to start debugging.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi guys,
I'm having a bit of trouble with my Green Bean Build. It fires up but I get no distortion, just a clean boost.
I'd did have bit a trouble with my comp switch (on/off/on), I accidentally mounted top side (backwards), I desoldered it alright and installed right. When I fired it up I was getting distortion in the third postion. But was only getting no clipping mode in the 1st and 2nd postions. so then I thought it might be the switch so I desoldering the switch again and installed an new ON/On switch. But now I get now distortion at all on both positions, just clean boost. The switch makes a pop sound between the to positions. So I think its working.
I'm using bat 46's in d1 thru 3. I got d4 and D5 socketed so I can experiment. And in4001 for D6.
I'm wonderinf if its my switch, the diodes or maybe the Trannies?
If any one can help, I would really appreciate it.
thanks

General Questions / Green Bean Cap Question
June 21, 2013, 02:14:51 PM
I'm finishing up a greenbean and I had purchased 1uf electrolytic caps instead of the film required for C2,C8 and C10
I was wondering if they could be substituted with my 1uf electrolytic?
I did managed to find 2 1uf film caps in another project, I can take if I have to.
But that leaves me one spot I need to sub for.

Any help would greatly appreciated.

thanks
