hi, all i have a time factor delay and a dd7 delay, the thing its i want to control tap tempo with just one switch and the preset with another one, but i want the tap tempo for both pedals to be the same, i have two carling SPSt NO switches, but im no so sure about the wiring, do i connect one switch lugs to tip and ground, so when i push the switch the delay take ground reference to change the tap??, and i put a diode on the second switch for another reference for the delays to know i want to change banks or pressets??, im a bit confused in here, also for the delays wil be the same wiring but different output ans same switches, so the output jacks will be only connected one to each other.

im traveling to atlanta on april, and i will search for wood, but its somebosy lives or knows where i can get some nice good i would be really happy, id like to get mainly maple, flamed, spalted or any nice looking maple, maybe some alder and some ash, im really into guitar building right konw, but i can only get Honduran mahagony, and some other nice woods, but maple alder and ash its something i cant get anywhere in my country.

i got a friend who got a pinnacle that got burned a resistor that ints on the output of 9v i think its labeled R30 but im not so sure its the one that goes to the drain of Q4, does anybody have a pinnacle deluxe that could help me to replace that one??, somebody was clever enough to connect a 12v on that pedal, and the resistor could not resist that.

Well this may not be a build report since i bought the pedal from Shu maker, but i repainted with powder coat black and make a photoshop for a friend, this pedal its so good on bass, with no mods, so clear and so good, but on bass its almost lack of power without the boost on, but with the boost its like a beast

hi all, i have a nova system broken that i cant repair i cant see anything wrong all works but i get no sound(bought it as is on ebay for  35USD), but i cant see to make it work, so my wonders are, do you think TC electronics will repair it?? i seems like somebody have change the output transistors

Im looking for a friend a compressor for jazz bass 5 i have read that the c4 comp its ok with normal bass with for a 5 string bass it rolls off some freqs and its not good, but have anyone tried it?? Also i hace seen that analog man have one that may be an orange squezer moded for bass any bass player can tell me better?? I never have use a compressor so i dont undertand them at all so im not so sure where to look but some how the keelley ones are a bit famous over the net

i have a sch from a pedal im ineterested, but i have a control switch that i would like to take away in order to simplify and make it true bypass,

i know those schmitt trigger and the MC14016B must be ignored, but im getting hard time to figure out, where the signal path its and where do i have to reconnect all




any idea where do i have to look first??

i hae a DOD flanger and only the SAD1024 its working, i not so sure if there its something to raeplace it like a cool audio version or maybe some mod to use anything like a mn3007

Hi all i got a rampage fron a friend fried by someone trying to repair the board bit lift all pots pads and in/out jacks and power jack so i email at jim in rocktron and he gave me the Schematic for the pedal so maybe can try a layout bit in not so good at layouts maybe somebody can help me at some points when ir maybe somebody its interested in making the PCB too

well i have access to an inductance meter so i would like to bobin my own inductor, i have a cry baby board and maybe(if i find it) a broken black inductor, so the core will be useful, but maybe you can tell me about wire gauge and inductance to achive for a some good wah wah and not the standard CB also maybe i will try to use a Weener Wah II board instead of the CB

well i have been days trying make my quasar( bass band mate) but i could get it, instead of boosting it was eating the signal, at max volumen even below unity volumen was coming out of the pedal, the strange part to me was that the gain knob really did nothing, so that was my first clue, i post on the tech help but no one said anything so today start making something and when i was chicking the schematic i saw that on the op amp in the clipping there its a cap(C3) and on the build doc was 150pf but on bass mod version it was replaced by 47nf, i thought that caps it too big for going there, so it almost eat all the signal, then replace it for a 100pf cap, and that was the big deal, lots and lots of volume boosting and gain, so i think that instead of 47nf should be 47pf or max 470pf, not so sure, but i saw that the bigger the capp in there the more bass on the output, so 470pf should be good or not??

hi all, its me again with my problems, this time its not popng issues, i just build a bass RC from the quasar, the pedals has very low volumen even below unity on max gain and volume, i have change op amps an even tried other types of op amps,volumen knobs works fine(cancel volumen at minimun) treble and bass are just fine, but drive sound the same on min than max, voltages on IC are normal, could be bad transistor in buffer??

hi all i have a rescue, its a DOD fx54 compressor distortions, i see it have a CA3080 so it must be an ota comp, maybe a ross, i have found the sch but im not so sure apart of the input cap what to change to make it a bass compressor and distortion

Hi all i got an afterlife popping so hard no even optical bypass stop that from pops do have any idea where i should look??? Got all elrctros nichicon audio grade caps dioses are fine all xicon 1% resitors.... Still pops so hard that its useless

hey i ha manage to get my bypass without pops, but now im getting lower volumen, even below unity, on my booster SHO, even at max, i cant get more than unity, and the afterlife at max volume its below unity, im using rullywow Detour, could it be my led resistor option? had used a 3.3k one...

any other idea?

danm im getting like crazy over here have two pedals i really like but they pop like hell, and afterlife and a SHO, so i said why not an optical bypass, SHO works good like two days, then the pop returns, also the afterlife, they only pop when engage the pedal when turn off zero pop, have no leds just to be sure, and nothing, bypass works fine, but its an optical relay, why would it pop??, also i have seen that if i touch the enclosure or the switch with my hand, a get that noise in the pedal as if i were touching the tip.... ot so sure why.

also i have no pcb mount switch i have wire a 3pdt as dpdt to make it work.

hi all i want to build a small cross over but im not so sure how to calculate the frequency and the inductance to make it




does anybody have any idea on how to target the frequency on that simple crossover??
