I just got it today on the side of a deal. It is old and in bad shape. i am going to restore it, just don't know what compressor it is.

It has 3 potentiometers, 100K A, 500K C and A504.

I made a overdrive multi-box including: red llama->rat->super hard on. When i turn the sho on, i get a terrible noise (most likely from a cheap power supply) does anyone have a go-to filter layout ?

I built an Kay tremolo clone, and now on testing i can hear the actual tremolo chopping away, but no guitar signal. if i strum hard, the i can hear the guitar for a second. what could be wrong in my build?

What do you guys think. is it even worth trying?
I have 2N2222 germanium and silicone versions.
do you think it can be possible to use one of each in a fuzz face clone?

Is it possible to make a pedal on/off switch with just a spst switch? Propable problem if you have to wire +9 and guitar input + to the same pin?

It sounds kinda nice.
Anyone know how to do it?

I tried to build an dod 250 clone, and all it gives out is a loud hum, it responds to a volume pot.
The circuit in question features ground for input and output.
My best guess is a short in somewhere on the pcb or i just don't understand the grounding very well.

I was wondering if anyone might have a transferable pcb image of the original mxr distortion plus pcb, meaning the one where the components are far apart. I would appreciate it a lot!
