Anyone need a killer little practice amp?

The Dean Markley K20 is (was) an awesome sounding little amp.  8)

I found these on ebay NOS from 1993 unused leftover inventory.

For the price I snagged one, figured for the price I couldn't go wrong. I was right.  ;)

Shoot, mic this up and use it at a gig!

Edit; He's got some K20-B's too...

Open Discussion / New Vintage Amp Day!

Found this for a decent price on Reverb.

It sounds great considering the speaker cone is a little soft. Farts a bit on low notes.
Speaker looks original, as do the tubes.
The 6X4 rectifier is a JAN Phillips, not sure if that would be original.

I stopped by The Source yesterday...

...thought to pick up a cheap multi-meter to throw in the car...

The sales guys didn't even know what I was talking about.
Not a single hobbyist electronic part/component/tester of any kind to be found in the store.

I hadn't been there for awhile... last time there, they were clearing out the last of the electronic type parts.
Picked up some toggle switches and a spool of wire for cheap. Shoulda saw it coming...

Now it's all cell phones, tablets, cheap usb crap gadgets, etc.

So Sad...  :(

I know I can get anything I need online, it was just nice to be able to run down there for the odd bit.

Edit; I remember buying etchant and blank pcb's there, back in the day.

Just picked this up from the local Long & McQuade.

Been jonesing for a Butterscotch Tele for some time now.
Finally took the plunge and bought a new one.
It's the FSR model MIM, weighs 7lb's 9oz and plays wonderful!  :)

Still want a "relic" version of this, might have to build one with stuff from MJT.

Here's my Sentient Machine from Parasit Studio.

The Rate knob flashes with... well... the rate.

Arnie's eye lights up in effect mode.
