Hello,

I built a flintlock flanger some time ago, unfortunatly the signal gets very dark when I engage the effect, even when I remove the modulation by setting Threshold fully CCW, and Manual fully CW.

I tried to fix it myself without success by tweaking Mix and Bias trimpots.

On my build the sweep is set between 73 KHz and 2.2 MHz, to avoid distortions at both ends of the sweep.

In order to bias the clock frequencies, C-Range internal trimpot is set fully CW, and Auto is set fully CCW.

The volume internal trimpot is set fully CW to get the same level of volume when the effect is engaged.

I do have 15V at test point near IC11.

C37 is empty.

I did a recording so that you can hear what I mean by "dark" :

Any help would be welcome, I love this flanger and I have no idea how to fix it...

Hi,

I hope this is the right place to post this .

I've been trying to finish the pirate shift for two weeks now , beeing a beginner and all,  i can't cant manage to get the chorus into play.
doc : https://pcbguitarmania.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/Pirate-Shift.pdf
The delay is working, and there is a modulation when i keep moving a wire along both negative legs of the photo coupler (LDR1)
If i bridge them, depth pot come to life and some modulation appears if i keep turning it, but that's all, it won't hold.
The LED (D5) responds to Speed , Wave has no effect.

I know other people had this problem; they did something in the end to activate the chorus (a bridge somewhere) but i can't figure it out

Any help would be greatly welcome .
