I'm looking for a Plexi OD project - similar to the Anasounds High Voltage.
Universally the Anasounds pedal seems to be the 'go to' for the proper Plexi sound, without mudding the lowers or distortion.

Gift project for upcoming Xmas gift.

Yes- the recipient is a huge AC/DC fan.

Any suggestions on similar quality builds are welcome.

I recently viewed a video featuring the 2017 Gibson Burstdriver circuit.
There are actually 2 circuits within the control cavity: 1) A boost module (which I believe I have the schematic) and 2) The overdrive module.

The overdrive module is extremely clearly labeled for assembly, with all but the cap values, and 3 pots being easily identified.

Does anyone have any information or resources regarding this 2017 board? It seems uncommon at best.

I have recently recovered... a lot... of passive and other components from my (mis)adventures.
I am talking on the order of ~40 lbs of loose and (few) originally packaged components. The volume is of course, enormous.
Ages vary from 1950s to present. Simple to complex (resistors to DAC and other ICs).

How do I attempt to inventory this. Seriously. There are hundreds of thousands of components.
Any ideas?

Not to annoy everyone with Noob questions...

-Where should I hit for the lowest $$ on components? Mouser has crazy minimums (sometimes) or bad prices (sometimes), SmallBear seems out of stock a lot.
-Would you recommend any 3pdt switches on Amazon? $1.60 seems like a good deal.
-What about the 1/4" jacks on Amazon?
-I have some older components in a 'grab bin' from the 90s. Acceptable? Mostly resistors, but I found some Ge components and a trainload of IC chips.
-I want to use my old film/electrolytic caps- but none are low profile. What cases require low profile components?
-Should I breadboard first?

I am soon starting on my first MBP builds, had a question about using pre-drilled enclosures.
-Do the MBP PCBs follow a standardized location for holes, like the VFE or PedalPCB 'Types'

If not- any advice for drilling?
I want to use Tayda powder coated boxes, but I have heard about chipping problems with the coating while drilling. Tayda (and others) offer pre-drilled coated boxes, but only in standardized knob/jack locations.
