I am now on my 5th attempt to build the openhaus. This time using Madbeans Orifice layout. After a little troubleshooting I finally got signal on the output jack.
There are still 2 issues to work out
  1) - the treble pot doesn't change any thing

  2) - there is barely ANY distortion

As I don't have 2n1306 tranny's I subbed in 2n2369 which I used in my Lighthaus build and they sound great but not so much in the openhaus circuit. I'm assuming (and hoping ) all it is is the tranny's.
 Has anyone built this pedal?
If you did were there any issues you had with your build? and if so what were they.

It seems most shy away from this build due to the high part count and complexity so finding any info on it is pretty scarce so any help getting this monster to work properly is really appreciated thanks in advance

Trying to figure out how to upload pics that are the wrong format and too big and will as soon as I can

I Hope I word this to be understandable to anyone who is kind enough to read this
So I have several sheets of copper clad board and am going to drill and etch my own (done many this way for years) but not my own layouts except for 4-5 small circuits that so far all worked as they should.
The layouts are from any stripboard I find then I use DIYLC do the same layout then try to get rid of the jumpers/links and if I can shrink the board size to make a PCB
So my question to any one who does their own layouts is.... Example-- On line 2 there is a resistor a jumper then a capacitor so on line 2 there are 3 solder pads next to each other and connected. Do I have to start my trace from between the  cap and resistor like where the link's origial hole is or can I come off after the resistor and cap in other words resistor hole is #1 link hole is # 2 cap  hole is #3. instead of hole  2 using hole 3 for new  trace or would that change the circuit? i dont want to do all that work and it be for nothing
i havent done bread boarding and not into all that R&D just like building working pedals

Hello forum,
I've been lurking in the shadows of this forum for sometime and think it was time to come out to say hi plus I think it's a better way to ask for help if people know something about me.
So I'm one of those with no electronic experience just like putting things together myself and making it myself.
When I first did my first builds I used super thin black tape and these black sticky rub off donuts from radio shack that I would do on clear mylar then burn the image onto a postive resistance piece of copper etch it drill it etc. It took me about 9-15 days start to finish on a pedal and this was before the internet. I picked up craig anderton's books and some schematics that I would draw a sketch layout from. Man if I only saw the light back then might of been able to gotten a business going out of it but I'm too short sighted missed the boat. I built stuff some worked some didn't then stopped for a few years but like 12 years ago I got bit by the DIY bug again and havent looked back just that now I'll try to buy prefabbed boards and etch my own only for something I can't find.
lately been getting a lot from PedalPCB.
Thanks to all of you who share your  knowledge with the slow and dumb ones like me. I could not have come this far without all of yours and their help.
I hope soon I can give back to others and pay it forward.

oh and Ive got several non functioning pedals just waiting to be saved so I'll be here quite often
