I snagged a Krankosaurus from Josh (gtr2) which I built up a while ago but only finally decided to splash out for the alpha 9mm pots recently.  It fired up first time

I like the pedal much more than I thought I would .    here are a couple of pics

Had this enclosure for a while and was goining to make a vero V846 for it until MR Bean whipped is weaner out    .  Went the whole hog an used an Icar Pot and of course the Whipple inductor. 

Still playing with values and transistors but it sounds great at the moment.

When the Dirtbag first came out I wanted to build one but thought that it would be beyond me and that I would never get any MN3005's and couldn't justify the price. Well when I saw the3secondrule's Board and 2 Genuine MN3005's for sale at a great price I jumped at the chance.

The board as per all Madbeans boards is of fantastic quality and the layout on this one is amazing , I am loving board mounted pots .  It was a tight fit in an Eddystone 1590bb that I had laying around

I only had one issue and that was no modulation due to a bent pin on IC7 which was soon sorted once I was pointed in the right direction.

Went for the classic DMM look.  

So when I built my MN3005 Dirtbag at 15v  and it fired up first time and I  got it biased up pretty easily I was over the moon.  After a day or so I realised I had had no modulation at all .

The only sub I can think of that might have affected it is CD4047ube for  CD4047BCN

When playing if  i turn the modulation pot I get that modulation noise with the pitch changing like you would expect when turning the pot.  Also when flicking the switch I also get a pitch warble.  But after that no modulation whatsoever

I have checked all values around the Mod section

Any ideas guys?

Here is my Current Lover - Worked first time after a bit of biasing.  Just a little distortion to iron out and still undecided whether to run at 9v or 15v.  I really enjoyed the build and the board mounted pots / switches but I am not so stuck on the effect which considering I used to have an Electric Mistress and sold it is not a great surprise so I am thinking about the M117 clone next .  Because of this I did not go overboard on the enclosure but just snagged a copy of Lacesensors homage to the DEM (thanks )

I think i got the last aristocrat board from madbean hence the name of the pedal

I messed up one or two things and the led wiring was a bit of an after thought but I am really pleased with the build.  The case is powder coated antique white with a full face clear sticker which did not go on too well but i was in  a rush  

Channel 2 has the 250k pot for slightly more gain

Hope you guys can help me out here with my first madbean build

(1) Project Name - Pork Barell Chorus - Latest version

(2) General description of the problem - With the 10k Trimmer all the way to the left I get a nice clean signal but after about a third of the way around the chorus kicks in but I am getting a fair bit of noise and if I strike a chord I get a bit of distortion as well.  The sound stays the same with the trimmer all the way clockwise

(3) Steps that you have taken to try to resolve the issue - I have tried all new Transaistors and IC's with no change.  Both pots alter the sound as you would expect

(4) List any substitutions you used for parts/values
R40 - 39r instead of 33r
