Any chance to try this machine out yet? I'm after something for drilling pilot holes in enclosures before opening them out on a pillar drill.
As i'll be using a regular drill bit rather than end mill and only making plunges i'm hoping the lateral forces involved won't expose the weaknesses of these machines.

If you prefer the feel of the DPDT you can use one side of it to drive a DPDT relay, the other side and the relay combined then effectively make a 3PDT.

I've read from "Zee Wampler" (a reference from the chasing tone podcasts) himself that using matched sets rather than re-biasing is critical in quite a few of his circuits to achieve the same tone. My suggestion, depending on how many pedals you plan on making in the future and whether you are comfortable soldering teeny tiny parts that ping out of the tweezers and are never to be seen again, would be to buy a "decent" amount of SMD J201's and some adapter boards. I've also found from the SMD ones I've tested that tolerances are tighter and its easier to find matched sets, I don't know if its because they come on a reel so you know they're all from the same batch or due to the manufacturing process they are more consistent, who knows...

Nice project, I like the mini/micro/nano boards for projects like this, is the jack for an external footswitch?
I've got a midi controller in the works as well, pro micro & some I2C expanders hooked up to 24 RGB LEDs, 30 footswitches and a 20x4 LCD. Its good how scalable these units are until you have to start using external EEPROMs and have issues with page writes & buffer limit sizes...

I agree. It was the best feature update in several years.

That alongside the new "snap" feature when creating nets, i always have some components with awkwardly spaced pins so connecting them used to be a case of holding alt and struggling.

I suppose i could've edited the device but that would be far too pre-emptive!

Thanks for this, i tested mine and also got self oscillation earlier on than expected, i'll have a play with R30  :)

I have to say though, a wonderful sounding delay, my first experience with BBD chips and so far so good, well, better than good  :)

Do you mean SPDT or DPDT? have you got a basic wiring diagram?

I often use tayda resistors/caps for some of the lesser used component values if its not a value that warrants buying 100+, i do however test each one before just to check, so far they've all been good IIRC.

I received a shipment of components this week from one of my usual suppliers, CPC in the UK. I normally use them for jacks and a few other bits. I was shocked when i opened the box and found a large bag full of individually bagged electro caps, hundreds of them! what a waste of packaging and time! and to make it worse, as they didn't have all of them in stock a jiffy bag arrived today with a single cap in, still 10 to follow, i'm hoping they all turn up together...  >:(

First thing I'd try is shortening your off board wiring, can you plug the effect in and move all the wiring clear from the board, see if it reduces in volume.

This is good advice, get the audio side of things sorted first.

To start with you'll "need" a buffered splitter, one output going to amp 1 and the other going through a isolation transformer circuit. If i was you I'd add phase inversion and ground lift switches at the cost of a DPDT & a SPDT. These switches could be relays controlled by the arduino at a later stage.

What control inputs do the amps have? 1 mono to switch channels and 1 stereo to switch boost & reverb?
